Antique Belgian Ribbonwork Wall Mirror with Brass Hooks

Circa early 20th century | Made in Belgium

This charming petite wall mirror evokes the romantic elegance of a bygone era. Made in Belgium, the shaped wood frame is covered in its original jacquard-woven fabric—a floral and ribbon stripe pattern in soft blush, gold, and ivory tones reminiscent of Belle Époque interiors. At its center rests an oval mirror bordered in delicate trim, with a naturally aged surface that lends it a soft, atmospheric patina.

Four original brass L-hooks are mounted into the panel—two at the top and two at the bottom—likely intended for jewelry, keys, or delicate accessories, making this as functional as it is decorative. The frame’s curvaceous silhouette and textile covering suggest it may have once graced a boudoir or lady’s dressing room.

The back retains its original hanging hardware and partial paper label, marked “Made in Belgium.”

Condition: Light age-related wear and toning to fabric; mirror shows natural spotting and minor waviness; hooks have light patina. Structurally sound.
